I'm not sure on this one. I believe in God over anything scientific. If the world was created scientifically I think they'd have some sort of evidence.

I used to go to church against my will by my mum. I pray and stuff (in my head) when I think something bad's going to happen, so I guess I subconciously believe in him.

I hate when people call God 'him'. But if that's what they believe, that's your choice. Wink

I do think the above was a condescent argument - there's nothing wrong with believing is God,but thinking you have a superior mind because of it definitely means you have to expand yours in my opinion.

You think sth I am not.

I was referring to the person who said that, which would be Carl Jung in this case. You are taking it personally when it wasn't a personal attack.

There is no need to critizice, just don't agree and I'm not patronizing anyone. I just added sth that someone who studied Psychology and also believed in God said

Yes, there is a need to criticize. We are not supposed to swallow down everything that is said, and if you disagree with something you have a reason that should be expressed. Again, I'm not saying YOU are patronizing, I'm saying the idea you used, in the context you used it, is. Unless you think saying people who don't believe in God have less developed minds is not patronizing and biased.

He can be right or wrong, who knows!... you believe it or you don't, that's all.

It's not a matter of believing, it's a matter of analyzing the way things were put (I have no idea about how or in what context Carl Jung said it, but I'm taking your word for it and commenting on the way you expressed it). I can accept the fact people's belief in God can be right, but that idea obviously can't accept the fact that they could be wrong.

I believe God has no shape (because God transcend shape and form), God can be every single thing, adjetive, object, being, word, feeling anything.
I think is "him" because we are culturaly used to see God as "He".

No, I do not believe in God. God is in the TV

But my opinion is somehwat biased. I am one of those kids from a Catholic family and went to Catholic school for nine years. God is practicially tuffed down my throat. I am pretty well educated about the Bible and all that other stuff, but I find it ridiculously farfetched.

I prefer Hedonism. The belief that making yourself happy is the true, correct way of living, and having no boundaries to seek that happiness. Smile

Yes I believe in God... But not in the bible or the church as an institution...

I think God is the essence of the universe, something that is not only above us, but surrounding us and is present in everything we do in everyday of our lives. Making God human was just a way to get people into it and make us feel "superior" (as if we needed that).
